Corbett Park is a haven to a variety of wild species including tigers,
leopards and some nocturnal cats such as leopard cat, jungle cat and fishing
cat. Sloth bear is found in the lower regions of the Corbett National Park
while the Himalayan Black Bear is seen in the higher hills only. The rare
specie of dole and jackal can be spotted in the southern area of the park.
Elephant are the major attraction of the corbet park. Some of the smaller
residents of the Corbett National Park are Himalayan palm civet, Indian gray
mongoose, common otter, blacknaped hare and porcupine.

The nearest operating airport is Delhi( 290 km ) and the nearest railhead
is Ramnagar. Bus & Jeep services are available from Ramnagar (19 km).
