on arrival at Delhi airport. Tranfer to hotel. Half day local tour.Night
stay Delhi.
Day 02 :
Transfer to Delhi airport for flight to Jammu. Met on arrival at Jammu
airport and drive to Mcleodganj (7 hrs.). Check into hotel on arrival. Night
stay Mcleodganj.
Day 03 :
Day visit to Official residence of H.H. the Dalai Lama, Namgyal Monestry &
Tibetan Medicine School, Monastary and local bazar. Night stay Mcleodganj.
Note: Appointment with H.H. the Dalai Lama can be
arranged subject to prior notice & his availability.
Day 04 :
Morning drive from Mcleodganj to Jammu (7 hrs.). Check into hotel on
arrival. Night stay Jammu.
Day 05 :
Transfer to Jammu airport for flight to Delhi and onward journey.
Day 01:LEH Arrival
Met
on arrival at Leh airport ,located at 3,300 metres (10,700 ft) &
transfer to Hotel. Full day at rest for acclimatization to high altitude
,which is must to settle yourself for next few days to discover Ladakh
Valley.Evening you can take an easy walk to market to stretch yourself.
Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 02 : LEH
After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Leh which includes visit Shanti
Stupa - a white pagoda atop a low lying hill west side of Leh town which was
built by Japanese Buddhist Missionaries in early 1980's, followed by visit
to the formidable 16th century 9 story high "Leh Palace or Lehchen
Palkhar" the seat of the ruler of Ladakh and culminating the
sightseeing with visit to Tsemo Castle - the victory tower on the top of
Namgyal peak on the base of which Leh Palace is built.Sanker Gompa Afternoon
members are free for exploring the local market.
Day 03 : LEH
Morning excursion trip to Khardongla Pass 5600m / 45 km north of Leh town –supposedly
the world highest motorable pass, there is no other pass to drive higher
than this. Back to Hotel by noon and have lunch. Afternoon free to discover
local bazaars & ecological crafts centre etc.
Day 04 : LEH
Early morning full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km from Leh - one of
the most amazing Lakes in the entire Himalayas which is nearly 140km long
and 3-5km in width more than half of which lies in Tibetan territory. Back
to Leh by evening, with enroute halt at Hemis Tibetan Monastery.
DAY 05 : LEH
After breakfast excursion to visit 25km west of Leh, Sangam of Indus &
Zanskar rivers – the two major rivers in Ladakh famous for river
Rafting, Also visit Magnetic Hill - which is supposed to have anti
gravitational pull Sikh Pilgrimage site of, Pathar Sahb Gurdwara.
Day 06 : Depart LEH
Early morning transfer to Leh Airport to board onwards flight.
